Manchester City reserves boss Kenny Jackett says management were happy with the return to action of Joe Hart and Emile Mpenza for this week's defeat to Bolton.

Jackett told City's website: "Emile had 45 minutes and I think that's his first 45 for maybe a month.

"He had a couple of very good chances in the first half, which maybe with a bit more training he would have finished. But it's good to see him back for the Club and it's a good addition for our squad.

"Joe Hart, at 20, looked a very good goalkeeper last night and the Club's in a strong position with the likes of him and Kasper being so young and full of ability."
