Manchester City coach Angelo Gregucci says they'll compete for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani in the summer.
Spain sources insist Cavani has already agreed to join Real Madrid.
But Gregucci says: "Manchester City will compete in the summer for Cavani, not only because he has consolidated his place as the top scorer in Serie A, but for what he does in every game, the effort that he makes and for what he can give his club.
"Currently there are at least 10 teams who want El Matador in Europe."
