Manchester City chiefs are prepared to sell Joe Hart to a direct Premier League rival.
Hart, 29, is currently on loan at Torino, having been deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola following his appointment as City boss last summer.
And contrary to reports last week, The Times says he will be free to join one of City's direct competitors on his return.
That could come as a boost to Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.
All three clubs have been credited with interest in the England international amid doubts surrounding their current options in between the sticks.
But any of Hart's potential suitors will have to match his reported wage demands of around £100,000-a-week.
