Manchester City remain in the hunt for AS Monaco fullback Layvin Kurzawa.
The youngster was invited by City to a Champions League earlier this season.
The Daily Star Sunday says City's director of football Txiki Begiristain was in London last Wednesday for talks with Monaco officials before their game at Arsenal.
City are trying to agree a £15million deal for Kurzawa, who surprisingly was only on the bench for the shock 3-1 win at The Emirates.
He finally got on the field ten minutes from time.
