Manchester City are ready to spend big again this summer after their disappointing season. The Daily Star Sunday says City have made Napoli and Uruguay ace Edinson Cavani their top target.
City are prepared to pay £50million for the striker, 26.
That would equal the British record signing, matching the sum Chelsea paid Liverpool for Fernando Torres.
However, they will need all their persuasive powers, with Madrid sources insisting Cavani has already given the nod to a move to Real Madrid this summer.
