Manchester City chief Patrick Vieira was in Sweden on the weekend.

Vieira took in Djurgardens' game with BK Hacken as part of a trip to establish a partnership with the former.

Djurgardens chief scout Khaled El-Ahmad opened talks with City about a collaboration last month and discussions have since been accelerated.

"I cannot say much more than that, our chief scout Khaled confirms that he is here and saw the match tonight. Patrick is on a visit here in Stockholm and has chosen to see this match. I cannot say more right now," confirmed Djurgardens media director Jonas Riedel to fotbolldirekt.se.
