Manchester City are confident of signing Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez.
Goal reports City director of football Txiki Begiristain travelled to London to begin talks over a deal for Sanchez.
Bayern Munich have been seen as the front runners for Sanchez and were reported to be lining up a £50 million bid for the Chilean.
And the German giants will also give the former Udinese striker around £10million-a-year in wages.
But City have the added draw of tempting Sanchez with a reunion with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola.
Yet Arsenal remain determined to do everything they can to keep their man – including coming up with a package that will make him one of the Premier League's highest paid players.
