Manchester City chief Mike Rigg has dubbed Benfica left-back Fabio Coentrao the best young talent in Portuguese football.
Manchester United see Coentrao as a potential replacement for Patrice Evra, while he has also been linked with Real Madrid.
Rigg told Record: "Fabio Coentrao is a player of enormous potential and at the same time, a star of European football.
"In my opinion this is the most exciting player in Portuguese football, stunning quality, who has long attracted the attention of several clubs."
