Manchester City executive chairman Garry Cook has admitted regret over their failure to land AC Milan star Kaka in January.

Speaking at a fans' forum on Tuesday night Cook said that he now regretted saying that AC Milan had 'bottled it' over the Kaka deal - but added that the Brazilian would have struggled to take Stephen Ireland's place in the team anyway, says the Daily Mail.
