Manchester City and Chelsea are set to battle it out for Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos. Fed-up with Real dragging their feet over offering a promised 'life time deal', Ramos has instructed his representatives to find him a new club abroad, says El Confidencial.

Ramos' brother, Rene, is now fielding interest from Chelsea and City.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich almost landed Ramos last year and remains a big fan of the Spain international.
