Manchester City and Chelsea are on red alert over the potential availability of Barcelona star fullback Daniel Alves.

The Telegraph says with Alves facing a divorce that is set to cost him millions in alimony, there are hints the Brazilian will make himself available for transfer to generate a big payday.

Alves, who turned down Chelsea while at Sevilla, is also interesting Roberto Carlos' Anzhi.
