Schalke striker Kevin Kuranyi is in the sights of Manchester City.

The German forward is out of contract at the end of the season and Bild says City are fighting it out with Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Dynamo Moscow to sign him on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old has 18 goals so far this season for Schalke, who are gunning for the Bundesliga title.

Schalke boss Felix Magath said: "Kevin and I have agreed that we talk about the issue after the season ends."
