Manchester City are interested in Olympique Marseille midfielder Lucho Gonzalez.

France Football says the Argentina international is a favourite of City boss Roberto Mancini, who hopes to convince Gonzalez about moving to Eastlands, despite City's lack of Champions League football. Marseille coach Didier Deschamps is reluctant to lose the attacking midfielder, though could be willing to do business for around £18 million.
