Manchester City have joined the battle for Southampton fullback Luke Shaw.
Shaw is a top summer target for Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Mirror says City boss Manuel Pellegrini will recruit a new left-back this summer and sees Shaw, with his pace, technical ability and attacking mind-set, as the ideal player to fill that role.
United tried to lure £22million-rated Shaw to Old Trafford in January, but were rebuffed by the Saints.
