Manchester City are ready to rumble Manchester United plans for Bayern Munich defender Dante.
The Manchester Evening News says City are still hoping to bring in another central defender before the transfer window closes, to reinforce their four-pronged push for honours.
They have taken a look at Dante, who has talked up the prospect of joining Manchester United this week.
City have also been quoted a ludicrous £40million price for Porto's France international Eliaquim Mangala.
But, unless something changes quickly, the Blues are set to enter the run-in with the same squad.
