Manchester City chairman Thaksin Shinawatra says their future success is tied to manager Sven Goran Eriksson.
The former Thailand PM, 58, bought the club in July and made former England boss Eriksson his team manager.
Shinawatra said: "Our ambitions for City don't end with domination of the world game, we want to be a major brand in the commercial world.
"Sven is the man I'm relying on to make my dream a reality."
