Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak is shocked by the very public blow-up between manager Roberto Mancini and football chief Brian Marwood.
Relations between the two have broken down to the extent that they no longer speak to each other.
A City insider told the Sunday Mirror: "Roberto is frustrated because the club haven't given him everything he has demanded.
"It is tricky. Both Roberto and Brian are valued tremendously by the owners."
Mancini is now set to be told to attend a summit with Marwood, Khaldoon and acting chief executive John MacBeath to broker a truce.
