Manchester City will be careful in the summer market, says chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak.
He suggested there would not be a huge influx of players this season and paid tribute to Roberto Mancini.
He said: "There will be improvements but I think in a manageable way. Roberto is a winner. Look at this season and the way we have managed some very difficult situations. It's a credit to Roberto's managerial skill.
"He has a very strong character, he wants to win more than anyone I've ever seen. I think this is a manager who will do a lot of great things for this club."
