Manchester City chairman Khaldoon al-Mubarak says they're ready to spend big this summer.
City are preparing for a major upheaval this summer.
And Mubarak revealed the cash-rich club are ready to flex their financial muscle in the transfer market.
When asked if City would make any signings, he replied: "Absolutely. This is going to be a very important year for us.
"We've made some very important management decisions.
"The new manager, from day one, has a responsibility to prepare a team for us next season - a team that will be able to compete and to win every competition we're involved in."
