Manchester City are casting a wide net to find a replacement for Juventus signing Carlos Tevez.
The Mail on Sunday says Fluminense striker Fred is under consideration, Benfica's Oscar Cardozo, Montenegro forward Stevan Jovetic and Stephan El Shaarawy, of AC Milan, have also been mentioned as replacements for Tevez.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini is eager to boost his attack after seeing Tevez and Mario Balotelli leave the club in the last six months.
