Man City captain Kompany happy to be back for Everton clash

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany is excited to be back for their clash with Everton.

Now, with batteries fully recharged, he is aiming to drive the Blues towards a first league title since 1968 and with just 16 games remaining, the Belgium star is sure the squad have the right stuff to keep ahead of the pack.

“There is a belief in the team that we can become even stronger towards the end of the season and that's very important,” Kompany told City's website.

“From now until the end of the campaign is when you need to show your real strength, both physically and mentally.

“We are set up quite nicely for the finish and we're sure we're going to get even stronger in the weeks to come.”
