Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany feels Everton pulled off the best transfer coups on deadline day.
Kompany rates their loan deals for City teammate Gareth Barry and Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku ahead of Arsenal's capture of Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil.
He tweeted:
Everton made two great signings in Barry and @RomeluLukaku9 . Clever piece of business. Arguably the best deals of this transfer window. — Vincent Kompany (@VincentKompany) September 3, 2013
Ozil is an amazing signing! My point though: Everton getting two great players at no cost, that's what I call "a great piece of business". — Vincent Kompany (@VincentKompany) September 3, 2013
