Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany hopes to be back for their clash with West Ham United.
The Mirror says Kompany suffered a grade-one tear against Everton 11 days ago, and initially it was feared he could be out for four weeks.
The Manchester Blues' skipper is recovering well at their Carrington HQ though, and medical staff have not ruled him out of the game at Upton Park.
