Man City captain Kompany adamant team has improved

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany insists they've improved this season.

Kompany, sees improvement, even if the stats don't back that up. City, for example, have seven fewer points than they did after 25 games last season.

"I think we have improved in the league," he told the Daily Mail. "Last year we had ''wow'' results like beating United 6-1 and Tottenham 5-1. This time we haven't had as many stand-out performances but we have been better overall.

"This season we haven't always shown that we are the best. We have to accept that. But we still have 13 games left and every one we play is potentially one of those great performances that changes everything."
