While they only scored a single goal in the win against Chelsea at the weekend, Manchester City did break passing records in the game.
City were utterly dominant, with Chelsea barely threatening and hardly venturing out of their own half.
That resulted in the City team managing to rack up a record number of passes for a Premier League game.
They had 71 percent possession, and recorded the most number of passes ever in a Premier League clash. City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan also broke a few individual passing records for passes made, completed and most touches in a single game.
Manchester City are sitting pretty on 78 points in the league, 18 ahead of Liverpool and 19 in front of Manchester United with nine games left to play (United have a game in hand).
