Manchester City are set to sign Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fernandinho.
The Daily Express says City appear set to follow their swoop for Spanish flyer Jesus Navas by agreeing a fee of around £25 million for Fernandinho, after the Ukrainian champions lowered their demands from his £42.5m release figure.
Fernandinho has publicly pushed for a move to the Etihad, telling his followers on Twitter he hoped to sign for City and blasting his club for their lofty transfer fee demands.
"My dream is being threatened because of the high valuation," said the central midfielder last month.
