The 15 year-old attacker was also on the wanted lists of Liverpool and Arsenal, but Marca says City have won the race for the lad.

A City delegation visited Pozo's family in Malaga last week to agree personal terms.

While they could take him away from Real for nothing in June, City want to maintain good relations with the Spanish giants and intend to cough up a fee for the youngster.
