Yaya Toure is back in the Manchester City for their Champions League clash with Barcelona on Wednesday night.
The powerful Ivory Coast midfielder was suspended for the Round of 16 first leg at the Etihad Stadium late last month and is now preparing for his European outing since November.
City trail Barcelona 2-1 ahead of the return bout at the Camp Nou but visiting boss Manuel Pellegrini feels a little more secure with ex-Blaugrana Toure back in central midfield.
"I always say that we can play without Yaya and win without him but I would prefer to have Yaya in my team because he is a very important player," he told reporters.
"For our team he is very important."
