Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson has warned fans against expecting instant success from their raft of new foreign signings.
He told City's website: "It's a big step for the new players to come to the Premier League and many of them haven't played in the Premier League before.
"It will be tough for them in the beginning, I'm sure about that. But we have already found professors in English because two or three of them really don't speak English.
"The positive is that we have a lot of good football players and they will great work for this Club in the future I am sure about it."
