Man City boss Pep Guardiola: What have I learned from this season?

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he's learned plenty from his first season in England.

Guardiola has failed to collect a trophy, but insists he's happy.

Speaking before the Watford game, he said: "I was so happy working at this club. That is the most important thing for me. Working with the players, I enjoyed a lot."

When asked what he had learned in his first season in charge he explained: "I have learned about my players. I have learned about what you have to do to make these players better and win the games. During the year, you always improve.

"The league is a fantastic league in all terms, but the league at the end as 11 players against 11, it's the same pitch.

"We played better in the last game against West Bromwich Albion, for example, where they were a defensively strong team, but again we were able to create a lot of chances. We conceded one goal and one more chance, no more than that. So that is the way you have to try to do better next season."
