Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola concedes failure in Europe would be a "disaster".

Guardiola accepts his past success means he'll be judged more harshly than his peers.

"I know my standard from my past and I know what it is like to win three straight leagues," he said.

"I won two cups out of three and we (Bayern Munich) always went for the Champions League, but we did not have a chance to win the Champions League.

"Semifinals and finals, but it was a disaster."
