Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini says he's never found it difficult to manage star players.
The qualified engineer insists dealing with stars is a simple challenge.
"It is easier than people think," Pellegrini told La Fabrica. "It is not something I have ever found especially difficult in my career. Firstly, that is because there is a reason they are stars: because they have a grounding in the game, because they have a work ethic, because they have a technical ability. You need that to be a star.
"From the economic point of view, they all know that their lives are secure, so what they are looking for is sporting glory.
"The most important thing is to appeal to their ambition to keep on achieving important things, to try and improve all of them in some way. We can all get better. We all have to think about how to improve ourselves, no matter how good we are. So I try to know each player individually, to know how to try to improve them in the way they need to improve.
"If you do not know each player individually, one on one, it is impossible to form a team from 22 distinct personalities, different languages, different home countries, but with one common aim.
"One you have to give confidence, one you have to try to get a better performance, one you have to be stronger. You do different things for different types of personality."
