After defeat at home to Stoke City, Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini refused to comment on rumours of a deal for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.
Pellegrini would not be drawn on reports linking City with a loan move for Falcao before Monday's transfer deadline.
He said: "I am not talking about rumours. We have now 48 hours, we will see what happens.
"We have important restrictions about the amount of money we can spend and the number of players we can use, so it is not easy for us to bring important players."
