Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has told defender Joleon Lescott he's not for sale.

The Telegraph says the Chilean has ended uncertainty surrounding Lescott's future at the Etihad Stadium by telling the former Everton centre-half that he regards his experience as a crucial element of his defensive options in the coming campaign.

However, as yet, there is no news of a new contract offer for Lescott, now inside the final 12 months of his current deal.
