Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is eyeing VfL Wolfsburg winger Kevin de Bruyne.
City are the Premier League's leading scorers with 70 goals - two more than champions-elect Chelsea. But Pellegrini is unhappy that they are 21 goals short of last season's tally after 34 games and believes that is one of the main reasons for their tame title defence.
The Daily Express says Pellegrini wants to ease the burden on 27-goal leading scorer Sergio Aguero by bringing in two new strikers - with Liverpool's Sterling, Wolfsburg's Kevin De Bruyne, Burnley's Danny Ings and Southampton's Jay Rodriguez all on his transfer radar.
