Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini insists David Silva is better than new Arsenal hero Mesut Ozil.

Pellegrini claims Silva will not be dethroned by the German, having shown his influence since coming back from injury.

"Ozil is a very good player but he's not better than David," he said.

"David's in great form and he is really making a difference for us."
