Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini refused to be critical of predecessor Roberto Mancini during yesterday's introductory media conference.

It was felt there was discord in the dressing room under Mancini.

Pellegrini said: "I don't want to talk about what happened in the past.

"You always have problems sometimes with some players - I had it in the past - but I think we can have very good relations."
