Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini praised James Milner and Eliaquim Mangala after their 1-1 draw with Chelsea.
Milner shone in several positions on Sunday, while Mangala was making his full debut for City.
"Every time that Milner plays I think he does well, and he is a very important player for us," offered Pellegrini.
"It was Mangala's first game here and he didn't have to do much work, but every time he had a challenge he won it which is important because we always play with space behind our defenders."
