Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini admits Juan Mata can spark a revival at Manchester United.
Pellegrini acknowledges United's £37.1million club-record signing of playmaker Mata from Chelsea can transform their fortunes.
He said: "I think an important player can change a team, in every game. I am not just talking about Mata and United, but one player can change a team. And United have a bought a very good player."
