Manchester City are keen on Valencia defender Adil Rami.

The Daily Star says Manuel Pellegrini knows Rami well from his time in Spain as manager of Malaga.

It is thought a bid of around £8m should be enough to lure the wantaway Frenchman, capped 25 times by his country, away from Valencia.

Highly-regarded centre-half Rami, 27, has also attracted interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.
