Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has sympathy for Andre Villas-Boas after his departure from Tottenham.

Pellegrini felt Villas-Boas was harshly treated.

He said: "He didn't have time in both clubs but I am absolutely sure he will continue his career."
