Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is happy with Javi Garcia's form at centre-half.
Pellegrini has re-affirmed his faith in makeshift centre-back Javi Garcia as his team heads into the vital Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow tonight.
He said: "It was not a difficult decision, because we have been working a lot with Javi during the week.
"I think he played very well at centre-back, and we need him at this moment in that position. He also played in that position with Real Madrid. When he played at centre back against Stoke, they didn't score, and at Cardiff, they scored two set-piece goals, but neither of them was his fault."
