Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is a big fan of Tottenham's goal-shy striker Roberto Soldado.

The Spaniard has scored just once in the Premier League from open play but continues to keep the likes of Jermain Defoe and Emmanuel Adebayor out of the side.

Pellegrini said: "He is a very good player, he is a dangerous striker, always in the right moment inside the box.

"We must be very careful about him."
