Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini would prefer to sign Arsenal ace Theo Walcott over Swansea City's Scott Sinclair.

The Daily Mail says the Italian still expects to sign Swansea winger Sinclair, who is only being bought as a squad player, though, something that prompted Mancini to choose him over Arsenal's Walcott.

Mancini is a Walcott fan but suspected it would be too difficult to lure him without the guarantee of regular first-team football.
