Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is unsure if Carlos Tevez can be afforded by Italian clubs.
Mancini's old team Inter Milan are being linked with the Argentina international.
And the City manager said: "I do not know if the price is high for the Italians, but surely Tévez will cost. The great players have a price high enough."
On Inter's problems, Mancini added: "It's strange considering the last years, but I think they have the players to get out of it. Even if I see the Scudetto going elsewhere ..."
