Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has warned Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid: We're coming to get you!

The Special One dismissed ­suggestions that Cristiano Ronaldo would quit Real to join City ­because the Blues don't have the right kind of pedigree.

But Mancini has hit back by claiming that City will become one of the biggest names in football inside the next decade.

"Jose is right - we don't have the history of Real Madrid," said ­Mancini. "But Manchester City have won trophies in the past and the important thing is that I think we will win trophies now.

"Wait for the next 10 or 20 years. OK, we can't win like Real Madrid because they have been winning for 50 years, but we are winning things now and we want to ­continue that if it is possible. In the next 10 years I think ­Manchester City will become a top team like Real Madrid.

"Yes, they have a bigger history so there is a ­difference, but we'll see."
