Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini admits he wants more from Mario Balotelli.

Mancini knows the youngster has a volatile reputation from their time together at Inter Milan, but has reminded the player to concentrate on his game.

Mancini said: "He is still a young player but has played professional football for four or five years and has won everything."

He added that Balotelli still needs time to settle, especially after 10 weeks out following surgery to his knee.

"Maybe he still needs to understand English football, like David Silva," Mancini said.

"It took David two months, and maybe it will take Mario the same, but people will see he is a fantastic player.

"It is better that he doesn't talk, but plays - he needs to get a focus on the match."
