Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini wants Patrick Vieira to play on next season.
Mancini says the 35-year-old Frenchman could still have a future at Eastlands.
The Man City boss said: "Patrick has been fantastic. Every time he has played he has been like a father for the other players.
"I want to speak to him for his opinion and see if he will stay."
