Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini wants a long run in the Champions League.
Making an impression in the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League is Mancini's priority at present, with City having qualified for Europe's premier club competition for the first time.
He said: "I do not want it to be a guest appearance after qualifying on merit.
"We want to be leaders in the competition."
