Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini wants to bring Chelsea attacker Danny Sturridge back to the club. The Manchester Evening News says Sturridge is understood to be high up on the Italian's summer wish-list.
Sturridge, who moved to Stamford Bridge under a cloud three years ago after City reportedly refused to match his wage demands, has fallen out of favour since Roberto Di Matteo replaced Andre Villas-Boas as Chelsea manager last month.
Before City's trip to Chelsea in December, Mancini said: "It was strange because Sturridge was developed in Manchester and someone let him go.
"If Sturridge was here today, he'd be in the first team. I've watched him many times and I know him well."
